What Is Parent Practicum?

Parent Practicum events are hosted around the globe each year, inspiring and equipping parents to become better “everyday educators.” Combining the encouragement of community, integration of ideas, and practice with the classical skills, Parent Practicum is a once-a-year parent investment.

Making Homeschool Doable

This was the best Practicum that we have ever attended. We worshipped together, prayed together, and grew together. I’m in awe. It truly blessed us. We feel more equipped.

This was the first [Parent Practicum] I was able to attend and I truly enjoyed it. I gained support and encouragement throughout the entire training.

The lost tools of learning we practice at Practicum can benefit everyone! Even if you’re not homeschooling. Even if you’re not parenting. The classical method can help anyone learn anything.

My director and fellow parents are tutors are more than colleagues; they’re friends. I’m thankful for the support, accountability, and friendship they offer.

With hours in front of a computer screen, I didn’t feel like I was actually homeschooling my son We weren’t accomplishing much. I felt like I was failing and, on top of that, we were lonely. We needed friends and accountability. CC gave us a framework! Foundations and Essentials were our roadmaps. Challenge was the destination! We found friends. We began to thrive.

The question, “What will we do for high school?” always lingered. Once we found the fellowship, structure and accountability CC provided, that answer became quite clear. Our son is a senior in high school now, our younger children are thriving, and I have confidence that we are teaching them skills to navigate their futures well.
